Abbie + Teagan
Abbie reached out to me about scheduling senior pictures during either fall or winter, around St. Bonaventure University in Allegany, New York. We both decided pretty quickly that there was nothing like a Western New York fall, especially on campus. When I asked her if she would be doing individual senior pictures or with friends, she asked me if it was possible to do them with her boyfriend, Teagan. Abbie explained to me that Teagan has been her best friend since the very beginning and would love to document the two of them, during their senior year, where it all began.
Fun Fact! During our session, I found out that Abbie and Teagan have lived close (like same city, 5 minutes away, close) to each other their entire lives, but never met until freshman year at St. Bonaventure! It’s so crazy how fate works out.
St. Bonaventure University is so beautiful. Between the rolling hills surrounding the campus and the vine covered buildings, I can’t get enough. We made sure to get pictures in all the best spots, including in front of the dorm they lived in freshman year.
It’s not uncommon for me to be on campus and photographing couples, families, weddings, or high schools seniors, because it truly is a beautiful location. But when I’m there photographing SBU seniors, it’s a whole different feeling. This quickly made it to my “favorite sessions” list because, not only are the pictures beautiful, (I’m a little biased, hahaha) but also because I was able to walk around campus hearing all about Teagan and Abbie’s love story in the exact place it started. I was able to photograph them in areas that meant more than just being a pretty spot. I love this part of my job, because I was able to give Abbie and Teagan pictures to remember one of the best chapters of their lives, at the best college in the World (again, biased….but there really is nothing like the Wolf Pack).
Congratulations Teagan and Abbie on completing this amazing chapter AND finding your best friend and love, all at the same place.
