taking a little break
Life has a really funny way of asking us to slow down. Sometimes it’s burn out, or illness, or just simply realizing you’ve been so busy capturing everyone else’s memories that you haven’t been making enough of your own.
After many wonderful years of running this business, I've decided to take some time to rest, recharge, and make space for whatever comes next. Whether that means returning to photography as a pet and wedding photographer or finding a completely new path, I don’t know yet.
I’ve always believed in giving my whole heart to every session I photograph, and I want to make sure I can continue to do that for each and every one of you. Right now, though, I know I can’t give my business the heart it deserves. This new “season” is about slowing down, rediscovering joy, and allowing myself room to grow.
Photography has given me so much over the years; the opportunity to meet so many incredible people, celebrate milestones, and preserve memories that matter. I'll always be grateful to everyone who trusted me with those moments. Because of you, I was able to live my dream career, and that is something I will never take for granted.
For now, this little corner of the internet is taking a nap right alongside me. The pages and photographs are simply resting, not gone forever.
Whether this is simply a pause or the beginning of a new chapter, I don't know yet…and I'm okay with that.
