Bradley + Wynter | Olean, NY

Bradley and Wynter were married on a beautiful July evening in front of their closest family and friends at Woodside Tavern in Olean, New York. But this wasn't the first time they got “married” to each other.

They met in July 2016 when Brad started working at the same place Wynter worked. As a joke, she put ice down his back which made him drop to…you guessed it, one knee. When their coworkers asked what had happened, Wynter said, “Bradley and I are getting married!” and the following day, July 11, they had a pretend wedding day.

After they officially started dating, Bradley and Wynter celebrated not only their dating anniversary, but also their pretend wedding date. So when Brad proposed, it was an easy decision on when their actual wedding date would be; July 11, 2022, just 6 years after their first “wedding.”

Brad and Wynter’s wedding colors were a perfect mix of black, white, and gold. Besides her beautiful tiara that truly brought the whole outfit(s) together, Wynter wore an amazing white dress for their ceremony and the formal pictures, but then before announcements, quickly changed into a stunning black dress (which to be honest, blew us all away). Everyone talks about getting a reception dress, but very little people think to change into a colored reception dress. It gave the perfect vibe for the rest of the night, so I knew we would be taking some very moody nighttime portraits.

They told me that one of the most important pictures of the whole day was a picture of the moon. You all know that when a couple gives me a special request, I will do anything in my power to make sure that I get it for them. But I won’t lie, I straight up panicked for days wondering if I was going to be able to even see the moon from their venue, let alone get them a good picture of it.

During their first dance, I turned around and saw the moon shining bright into their venue; they could literally see the moon from the dance floor. I think I took my first full breath the whole day (haha sort of kidding), I knew that I was able to fulfill their dream of getting a moon picture from their wedding day.

Not only was I able to get a picture of the moon for them, but we were able to get some beautiful night time/after sunset portraits with the moon in the background. Which for them, was very meaningful.

If you are planning a wedding and are reading this, please remember that your wedding day is exactly that, YOURS. Do what makes sense to you both as a couple, make sure that your day it authentic to you, whether that means wearing a black reception dress like Wynter, (or a blue cape on top of a full glittery dress like mine), and getting nighttime moon pictures, OR wearing the brightest white dress and getting sunset photos. Whatever your wedding day means to you, should be what you do. You only get to have one wedding day (unless you get “married” at work first like Brad and Wynter haha), make sure it’s everything you’ve ever dreamt of.

Brad and Wynter, thank you so much for choosing Bre Palumbo Photography to capture your day. I had the best time and truly did not want the evening to end. Congratulations to the both of you!
